I found my passion for aerials in 2019 after my last rough break up. Mindy and all the other wonderful instructors and students at the studio became my favorite support system. I just came in for my first class this week and I finally understand what you mean when you talk about Levitation Nation empowering people! I never got it before. But Thursday night, I actually climbed up that silk a little ways (mostly when I thought no one was watching ), which is something I really didn’t think I’d be able to do, and when I did it was really a surprising and awesome feeling! Even if I was only two feet off the ground, it was still two feet more than I thought I could do and that’s pretty cool. Anyway just wanted to say thanks for getting me in. This is totally different than anything I’ve done and way outside of my comfort zone but I think it’s gonna be a really awesome thing, and really good for me!

I suggest taking the Pole and Aerial Hoop classes here! Mindy and Larissa are active performers as well as instructors, and each class feels like a personal lesson. I started out as a complete novice and always felt comfortable. The friendships I have formed bring me back month after month.

I want to tell you how much this class actually means to me. My heaviest weight was 225. I had no self esteem, drank a lot, smoked a lot, and ate a lot of shit. I have struggled with loving myself. I went through two years of social anxiety and panic attacks. Your class makes me feel beautiful and makes me feel proud. I am doing something that most girls my size wouldn't try. I was visiting Montana from Arizona this past summer and needed somewhere to train. Not only was Mindy generous with her studio, the studio is beautiful and roomy, with 5 poles!! (2 of which are nice and high!) I even took a yoga class there, which was a really nice change of pace.
