June 2020 COVID-19 Policies

We are taking every precaution to ensure your safety. Here are some of the safety measures we are implementing:
  • We have always cleaned our poles with rubbing alcohol and yoga mats & equipment with disinfecting wipes after use. Also, antibacterial gel is placed in the office and right inside the front door. These practices will continue.

  • Equipment will be sanitized between use, and equipment sharing is strictly prohibited.

  • Since fabric cannot be disinfected after a single class, any and all fabric classes will be run as a series class and each student will have a fabric dedicated just for their use.

  • Aerial hoops have been upgraded to powder coated hoops so they can be disinfected. Our old aerial hoops (taped with athletic tape are for sale for $180).

  • Yoga mats are being upgraded to those with a solid, easier-than-ever to clean surface.

  • We will be practicing socially distancing. Smaller class size limits are managed by our new online booking system: www.levitationnation.org/book.

  • Acceptable locations for yoga mats will be marked with gold stars on the floor to keep more than 6’ away from the neighboring mat.

  • To minimize lingering / congestion in the entryway, the chairs are being removed for now. Also, we are prohibiting parents from watching the teen/pre-teen class for now. If this is a concern for you, please speak to us right away.

  • Instructors will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms (fever, cough, trouble breathing) before every class. Clients who come in with obvious symptoms will be asked to leave.

Here is what you can do to help:
  • Wait until five minutes before your class’s scheduled start time to allow the earlier class to exit.

  • If possible, come already dressed for your class to minimize congestion around the bathroom/changing room.

  • Do not linger in the entryway. Come right on in and claim your spot for class.

  • Practice skills within your ability level to minimize the need for spotting from your instructor.

  • Parents: wait for your teen/pre-teen outside.

  • Bring your own water bottle.

  • Practice good hygiene and social distancing in and out of the studio.

  • Let us know at your earliest convenience if you don’t feel well or are showing any symptoms of COVID-19.

August 2020 Update on COVID-19

Our cancellation policy is that we will accommodate refunds for bookings as long as you cancel at least 24 hours before a class. If you don't feel well on the day of class or think you have had an exposure to the virus, please let us know before your class and stay home/get tested. We will make exceptions to the 24 hour cancellation policy with proof of coronavirus testing within one or two days of your booking.
We have worked very hard to re-open in a safe, responsible manner and we appreciate your cooperation and understanding during this time!
