Why I Named Our Studio Levitation Nation

Updated: Apr 21, 2023

To rise into the air in apparent defiance of gravity esp. by means of magical powers

Sometimes I get asked why I named our studio Levitation Nation. Here is the answer: levitating is tantamount to uplifting, elevating and building, which we do a great deal of. With the help of our aerial apparatuses, we lift our bodies into the air, literally, at times, defying gravity. But it doesn’t stop there:

  • We lift up each other through community and sisterhood.

  • We build strength, health and fitness.

  • Aerial and dance alike are known to boost cognitive function (which your brain needs for big things like reasoning, memory, attention, and language; and is known to decline as you age unless you build it).

  • We raise spirits. Having a bad day? Come let your inner child out at our playground for adults and teens.

  • We elevate our passion for movement, which makes fitness fun!

  • We build self-confidence.

  • We raise the vibration in your body by nurturing creativity and elevating your thoughts.

So, when you are ready to turn your obstacles into the path, and RISE UP to your full potential, don’t wait another moment. All you have to do to start your journey levitating is drop us a message or book a class and we will take it from there. If you are already training with us, thank you for being part of our community of women empowering women.
